Malcolm Morris
Chairman
Malcolm Stewart Morris is Chairman of Stewart Title Company. He served as Chairman of the Deacons at First Baptist Church of Houston; He was a member of the Council on National Policy and Real Estate Roundtable’s President’s Council. He is the past Chairman and current Executive Vice President of Living Water International. Mr. Morris is also heavily involved in working with Africa for Schools, hospitals, orphanages, churches, and communities. After traveling to Southern Sudan in 2000, Mr. Morris was involved in the reinstituting of peace talks between the President of Kenya, White House staff and the State Department that culminated in the signing of the peace treaty for Southern Sudan. In response to a call from U.S. administration officials, he put together the Millennium Water Challenge in 2002 to communicate the importance of water in US foreign policy. Mr. Morris founded and serves as Chairman of the Millennium Water Alliance (MWA). Malcolm is not just an observer of the international water crisis, he is also a drill instructor, conducts drill training camps, and has led teams who have brought WASH programs to schools in both Africa and in Central America. It is his vision and dedication to providing clean safe water and sanitation facilities to the world’s poor that has inspired and continues to drive the work of MWA.
Peter Lochery
Vice-Chairman
Peter Lochery is an environmental engineer with over 30 years of experience in the water sector. He has worked in the private sector, with the World Bank’s Water and Sanitation Program, and latterly with CARE. Since joining CARE in 1995, he has been responsible for providing leadership to CARE’s relief and development programming in water and sanitation and water resources. He has supported CARE’s participation in international, regional and in-country partnerships as a means of building capacity, reaching consensus on best practice, strengthening advocacy, and increasing investment in the sector. Peter has led CARE’s advocacy for increased awareness of and support for water, sanitation and hygiene in developing countries. He has worked closely with major US foundations to develop long-term programs with a focus on learning, and has facilitated relationships with the private sector to extend corporate social responsibility into the sustainable provision of goods and services that contribute to the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals.
He is a board member of three non-profits: Building Partnerships for Development in Water and Sanitation, the Millennium Water Alliance, and Water Advocates.

Andy Barnes
Andy Barnes has worked for Food for the Hungry for nine years. He spent seven years as the Country Director in Ethiopia, and two years in Washington DC as the Director of Food Security. In addition, for nine years, Andy taught forestry and biology at the university level in Ethiopia and Canada. He got his start in international work in Haiti, where he worked for seven years in reforestation and agriculture. He met his wife in Haiti and recently returned there to help start Food for the Hungry’s earthquake emergency program.

Ned Breslin
Edward D. (Ned) Breslin joined Water For People as its Director of International Programs in January 2006, and was appointed Acting CEO in late 2008. The board hired him as Chief Executive Officer on May 13, 2009. Ned was first introduced to the challenges of water supply when living in the Chalbi Desert of northern Kenya in 1987, linked to a Lutheran World Relief program through his university – St. Lawrence. He subsequently worked for a range of local and international water and sanitation sector NGOs in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, including positions at the Mvula Trust and as Country Representative for WaterAid in Mozambique, before joining Water For People.
Ron Clemmer
Ron Clemmer currently serves as the Senior Technical Advisor for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for World Vision U.S., working in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. Ron has worked in environmental engineering with a WASH focus for over 20 years, and his projects have served areas ranging from one household to over 1,000,000 people. His technical experience includes planning, design engineering, engineering services during construction, operations support, hygiene education and grassroots community development work. Ron also served as a director for a non-profit organization board for WASH operations in school. In addition, he has presented at many professional conferences on water, sanitation and hygiene topics. Ron received his M.S. in Environmental Health Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and his B.S. in Civil Engineering at Texas Tech University.
Joe Harbison
Joe Harbison joined Lifewater International in September 2010 after serving most of his professional life in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. In his thirty years serving and leading in the field of relief and development, he learned that one of the best ways to assist rural communities in their development goals is through partnerships to improve water and sanitation resources. Joe is glad to work alongside Lifewater’s staff, board, volunteers, and partners toward this goal. He holds an MA in Cross Cultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, and is completing his Doctor of Ministry degree at the same institution.
Mike Mantel
Dr. Michael J. Mantel is President & CEO of Living Water International, a global implementer of water solutions in 24 developing countries. Prior to joining Living Water International in 2008, Mike led World Vision’s regional, area and metro teams in the central United States for 17 years. Mike is a graduate of Calvin College with a BA in Business Economics and holds a Certification in Executive Training in Social Innovations and Global Change Management from Case Western. He earned his Ph.D. in Organization Development from Benedictine University and earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) Credentials from CFRE International in Alexandria, VA. Mike was a professor at both Eastern University & Benedictine University. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Values-Driven Leadership at Benedictine University. In addition to his extensive experience learned through his international travels, Mike is also an experienced corporate consultant and a marathon runner, and resides with his family in Houston, Texas. Dennis Warner
Dennis B. Warner is a Senior Technical Advisor for water supply, sanitation and water resources development with Catholic Relief Services. He has over forty years experience in international development, working on problems of water supply, sanitation, environmental health and emergency relief assistance. As a member of the CRS Program Quality Support Department since 2004, Dr Warner has headed up the development of regional water and sanitation strategies; the strengthening of technical staff resources at the headquarters, regional and country levels; the participation of CRS in coalitions and partnerships with other development organizations; the involvement of CRS in water-related international emergencies and disasters; and the promotion of a water program area within CRS. Raised in the Chicago area, he studied history and engineering at the University of Illinois and Stanford University, and received a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the latter. Dr. Warner has lived in Tanzania, Uganda, Switzerland and France and has held positions with the Peace Corps, University of Dar es Salaam, Duke University, World Health Organization, several engineering consulting firms, World Bank and USAID. Dr. Warner is a Member of Pax Christi, the international Catholic peace movement and in 2000 served as representative of Pax Christi International to the United Nations in Geneva. Dr. Warner is currently a board member of Pax Christi Metro DC, Falls Church Historical Commission and the Holy Land Christians Society.
Gary White
Gary White is executive director and co-founder of Water.org. Mr. White’s entrepreneurial vision has driven innovations in the way water and sanitation projects are delivered and financed, and these innovations now serve as a model in the sector. Mr. White is a leading advisor in the water and sanitation space, counseling organizations such as the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, Open Square Foundation, PepsiCo Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, and Coca-Cola on responses to the global water crisis. He is a founding board member of the Millennium Water Alliance and Water Advocates. In 2003, he was named a fellow of the British American Project. In 2008, he was inducted into the Philanthropy World Hall of Fame. In March 2009, WaterPartners received the Skoll Foundation’s Award for Social Entrepreneurship and Mr. White was inducted into the community of Skoll social entrepreneurs. Mr. White’s educational credentials include: M. S., Environmental Engineering with emphasis on water supply and sanitation in developing countries, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; M. S., Civil Engineering, University of Missouri-Rolla; and B. S., Civil Engineering, Minor in Communications, University of Missouri-Rolla.
David Winder
David Winder became WaterAid’s CEO, America in January 2010. Dr. Winder’s career has spanned the non-profit, foundation and academic spheres. He started his career in international development as a United Nations volunteer in Chile and then managed graduate programs, taught courses in public administration, social development planning and rural development policy and planning, and conducted research at the University of Manchester’s Institute for Development Policy and Management in England. For over a decade he served the Ford Foundation as Regional Representative for Mexico and Central America and as Regional Representative for Southeast Asia focusing attention on developing new programs in human rights and social justice, maternal and child health and community natural resource management.
